Travelling with my Eastpack!

Rucksacks are finally cool again yay! Being a woman who always feels the need to carry everything (with exception to the kitchen sink) in her handbag the resurrection of the rucksack came with a cheer! Purely down to the even distribution of weight being carried around and hey a rucksack has more room than a clutch bag to carry ALL those essential items! In today’s post I wanted to discuss my choice of rucksack as there are many out there and while I love a good pattern I wanted to keep my travelling rucksack option quite neutral and practical and here’s why I love my Eastpack!

Eastpack Rucksack

Travelling around Italy for as long as me and Mr J did I needed a rucksack that was strong and sturdy.  A sensible colour so it didn’t get dirty, waterproof and also be able to house my Mac, Kindle, Magazines, All chargers, Passport, documents, cardigan, Essential beauty items, Camera, Sat Nav…. you get the picture! I’m defineatly not travelling light!

My Eastpack – Macnee Into Black* was able to house all of the above and more.  This style comes in three colour ways and hosts a main expandable compartment with buckle closure.  A padded laptop sleeve and a quilted back panel that not only gives extra padding in-between you and the bag but additional protection to your lap top as well.  There are also two front pockets that are handy for easy accessible items.  Each bag in this style has leather detailing and a leather reinforced top handle.

Mrs J’s verdict – If you are a frequent traveller whether for work or pleasure I highly recommend getting yourself a rucksack! Not only is it a practical bag option, but it is also better for your back and general posture.  If you tend to like to pack a lot then if you choose a style like the one I have the very roomy roll top means that you can expand the top of your bag to house all your travel purchases or duty free shopping! The bag is also extremely lightweight and also waterproof which is handy for everyday use if you live in the UK!

The Macnee Into Black is £65 and can be bought from Eastpack.com
