Perfect hairstyling at the Pink and Rose hair salon!

For all you lucky North West London local residents, I have a treat in store for you! A brand new hair salon called Pink and Rose that opened earlier this year is on your very own high street and this is why you should be visiting it! Founded by the very talented Priyanca Patel, Pink and Rose is a salon founded on expert hair and colour stylists and high standards of customer service at its core.

Pink and Rose Hair Salon

When I was invited to visit the salon, I already had a certain level of expectation in my mind.  I was quite taken back at the detail that this new independent salon had thought about and created a space for. The salon is set in an unassuming building that spans over three floors with hair taking a focus on the first two floors. There is an obscene amount of hair colour choice in the Colour Bar on the second floor, and beauty treatments on the third. Wait for it…this is where Pink and Rose separates and stands out from the crowd with its very own space privé.

Pink and Rose

Space Privé is a private space hidden towards the back of the ground floor consisting of two hair styling stations; perfect for anyone who wants privacy, doesn’t want to socialise or be disturbed. It’s an ideal spot for new mums to have a natter, get their hair done and conveniently feed their baby in private. So is there an additional cost for this area? No, none at all! I just advise that you book well in advance.

Next we have the Colour Bar area featuring hundreds of colours to choose from and a washing chair that looks comfy enough to fall asleep on you’ll wish you could stay there longer. The Colour Bar is also the perfect space to host an event or spend an afternoon for girlie pamper time with friends or family. For more info on parties and events, click here.

Mrs J’s Verdict – Visiting Pink and Rose felt like going home. Going to a new salon and getting your haircut by a new stylist who has not cut your hair before can be extremely daunting. A good salon for me has to tick three main boxes: Was I listened to by my stylist? Did my stylist advise me on my hairstyle? Did I feel comfortable? Answers to those are all yes! Laura, my lovely stylist, sat with me before I had my hair washed to have a chat about what I wanted. Now I always have an idea or an image that I love to say ‘make me look like this’. Sometimes it’s not always possible and I appreciated Laura’s honesty and advice in how that style would look and what would suit the hair length that I was opting for. Some people, when given free will, go a bit scissor-happy and I did tell Laura to do whatever she wanted with the style. Even with that knowledge, she was careful to make sure that I was happy all the way through. The last standout point for me was that my hair felt light, not overcrowded with product that would make me need to wash it the very next day. All in all I had a very lovely experience at Pink and Rose and would highly recommend it to anyone who is ready for their next cut and colour!
