Nuxe The Essentials Travel Kit

I’ve always admired french women when it comes to style and fashion. Their overall look just oozes class. Despite the amazing cream cakes, food and wine they also seem to age very well. Maybe that is down to the french way of life, maybe  its down to good genes. I think it’s also down to the fact that they take good care of themselves and their skin. Over the past few months I’ve been discovering some amazing French brands and have had the chance to sample and test them out. Lucky for us, some of these wonder brands are now available in the UK and Nuxe is one of them.

Nuxe was discovered in the early 1990’s by Aliza Jabès, a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies and holder of an MBA in Marketing & Finance.

Aliza took the Nuxe from a small laboratory in Paris and built a brand that combined nature and luxury.  To this day Nuxe is a brand that is built and based on a pharmaceutical approach of: nature, innovation, evaluation, accessibility and sensory experience.

If you’ve never heard of or even tried Nuxe then the Nuxe Essentials Travel Kit is the perfect starter kit and comes in a handy clear toiletry bag.  The best part of the kit is the cult multi purpose dry oil (which you just have to smell to get hooked onto), amongst other best selling products from their best selling ranges.

Nuxe – Travel essentiall set * contains:

Nuxe Body Fondant Shower Gel – a gentle shower gel that suits all skin types and smells of the most amazing concoction of almonds and orange flower petals.

Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse – A multi purpose dry oil, that smells so good that you just want to sniff the bottle all day. Usually Mr J never really notices what scent im wearing, but with this dry oil even he was interested to find out what it was that smelt so good! The oil itself is a unique combination of 30 percent plant precious oils and vitamin e to nourish, repair and soften the face, body and hair.

Nuxellence Jeunesse – part of the anti-aging skin care range that Nuxe offer.  This is a youth and radiance revealing cream that is meant to leave the skin looking more smoother and radiant and can be used morning and night.

Nuxe Micellar Cleansing Water – Milcellar water is another new craze going around.  I was a bit sceptical about why I would pay for water to take my makeup off when we get water for free straight out of a tap! Micellar water however is a more genteler type of cleanser made to remove dirt and makeup in one go and be kinder to the the skin.  Nuxe’s version is enriched with rose petals and after using this for over a week I will definitely be investing in a full size bottle. Nuxe’s Micellar water not only cleanses, removes makeup but it is also gentle enough to use across your eyes and lips.  A good contender for those late nights out when you just don’t have the energy to do the whole face cleansing routine.

Nuxe Creme Fraiche De Beaute – A face mask designed for sensitive skin.  You massage a thin layer of the cream onto your face and leave on for ten minutes before removing or washing off (I prefer to wash masks off). My skin felt soft and hydrated after use and the following day.  I found that this mask suited my current dry skin, I would probably switch to a different mask if you have oily skin.
