My Little Home Box

The joys of working from home means you are actually in when the delivery or post person knocks at your door. Now you can imagine my surprise when, on a very windy Monday morning earlier this week, my subscription of My Little Box turned up super early in the month! Yay! Having no clue or spoilers as to what this month’s theme was, I was over the moon to see that it wasn’t anything related to the weekend of love that is Valentine’s Day. Instead, just as if the My Little Box team had me in mind when creating this box, I opened the package to discover My Little Home Box.

Now before I go into what the contents of the box were, I thought I would share with you why I had the particular interest in home stuff specifically. Well a few weeks ago I took the very random and exciting decision to leave my full time job, have a few weeks off, and then work out where my next adventures and career move would take me. With that in mind, and the help of my constant Pinterest home browsing, I have been slowly sprucing up my office (the spare room). I have been turning it into a space that isn’t there just for storage but a place of calm, quiet, and a spot that I and Mr J will enjoy using to work should we need to. So far the redecoration of this room has only progressed to having a mini clear out and lighting a candle. So the question is…can My Little Box help me? Let’s take a look at what’s in the February My Little Home Box.

For anyone who hasn’t read any of My Little box reviews before, then here is a quick summary. My Little Box is a themed monthly subscription that arrives every month packed in a cutely designed box containing two lifestyle items and three beauty items of which one is from the My Little Beauty one brand range. Each item comes with a description, a My Little World magazine, and a cute note card to keep or give away. And all of this can be yours starting from as little as £11 plus P&P. You can read some of my previous posts here and here.

Starting with this month’s lifestyle items which are perfect for sprucing up your home of office space are a photo frame and a reversible cushion cover.

Then finally the beauty bits, the perfect storm of a February product combination if there ever was one. With the recent harsh cold winds and various storms that have hit the UK, it’s not only our local environment that is getting a raw deal but our skin too. Mix in the dry heating and office air conditioning, no wonder that irritating skin conditions are on the rise! So all hail My Little Box as our first beauty item is Noxidoxi Mask and Peel, a skin reviving mask and peel face scrub, set to revive your complexion and bring its natural glow back. Next we have the My Little Beauty Skin Perfecting Face Cream, and lastly the Mitchell and Peach Body Cream.

Mrs J’s Verdict – Love it, love it, love it! This is the first time in a while that every item of a box is still not sitting in it! The frame is on my desk, the cushion in place on my chair, and the beauty items which I have never tried before have been in the bathroom being used for the past two days! How many more days until the March box?
