My Little Gypset Box
It’s been two months since my last My Little Box review. Just to show that I am still loving it and highly recommend that you subscribe, here is an overview from my latest August box entitled ‘My Little Gypset box’.
Whilst some subscription boxes can be a bit of hit and miss month by month, My Little Box seems to have mastered getting it right. If I’m being honest, I wasn’t overly impressed to see My Little Gypset as the theme for August when I initially opened my delivery. For one, the gypsy hippy look just isn’t my look and two, was this going to be the box where it all went wrong?
So what’s in the box?
Life style pieces – The box comes with a lovely motivating card, My Little world magazine, an Anita Batik material bag and hair ties/ bracelets.
Beauty pieces – So Susan lip gloss, Korres body milk and a bronzing powder from My Little Beauty.
Mrs J’s verdict – My Little box has still got it! I love reading the lifestyle magazine which I still prefer as an actual magazine format vs the financial times broadsheet version that we have now (a real pain to try and read on the train!). The Anita Batik bag, I wasn’t overly thrilled about. I thought it was a bit of a waste of a lifestyle piece as it is not my usual style and quite small for me to use on a practical level. So I think I’ll be using it to store my jewellery or to give away. The hair bands and bracelets were a nice touch as I always wear a hair band on my wrist and something prettier than a black band is always welcome.
On to the beauty items…I was glad to see an item from So Susan, as I have seen a lot of reviews about this brand but have never tried or tested anything out from them. Then we have the Korres Body milk and the My Little Beauty summer caress face bronzing powder, both of which I will totally be using and packing in my suitcase on my next trip away. Over all, this month’s box gets a 7/10. Let’s hope next month’s is a 10 again!
