My Little Dream Box

I’m a bit late to the game this month with my review of My Little Dream Box.  Okay, late is an understatement but never the less, it was such a pretty box that really got me thinking or dreaming that I simply had to share.  Now that we are officially one quarter of the way through the year  it’s a great time to reflect and mull over those new year resolutions or life goals that have stood the test of time, or have long become a distant thought.  Now i’m not going to delve into how my goals are going as I think i’ll give myself two more months before I fully reflect, but if you fancy a little read about them then click here.  What I can share is that life is not a fairy tale, and I’m a strong believer of positive thinking and the saying that thoughts become things.  Before we get into the nitty gritty of the box’s contents let me leave you with a quote:

“If you can dream it, you can do it” – Walt Disney

April’s My Little Dream box as with all previous My Little Box’s did not disappoint. We received a cute little cloud cut out with a quote for Walt Disney that I have stuck in my bedroom to keep me inspired especially on the days when I really don’t want to wake up.  The My Little World Magazine had a bit of a restyle this month in the form of a fold up poster.  It still had all the usual interviews, beauty and style advice from bloggers  but opened up into a large poster.  I personally preferred the magazine style of My Little world as I  could pop it in my bag and read it on my commute to work.  Opening up a massive poster on the tube provides a tad bit awkward especially in rush hour! Every month I receive a little pouch full of beauty products and a lifestyle gift, but this month there was two beautifully packed lifestyle pieces.  keep scrolling ….

The First lifestyle item was a green stamper and ink pad, set to jazz up your every day stationary with twelve fun feel good messages.

The beauty pouch contained a full size My Little Beauty hair mask (My Little Box’s own brand beauty range).  The mask is made up of refines walnut oil, and shea butter perfect for conditioning and giving dry and heat damaged hair a well needed boost.  Just leave on for two minutes and wash off with cold water to seal the hair cuticles. The combination of Walnut and Shea butter smells amazing, a scent that will have you smelling your hair all day. A Rouge in a balm, loved by French actress Lou Lesage.  A red tinted balm that is moisturising and holds a slight tint to give your lips a subtle colour without drying them out.  A recommended handbag essential.  The last makeup item was a soft perfume on a stick by Sabe Masson in Copacabana.  A convenient little perfume stick with fresh ans exotic notes that can be topped up throughout the day.

The final lifestyle item was a gold plated locket designed by Delphine Pariente.  I personally prefer wearing more chunky statement style necklaces, so I wasn’t that overwhelmed by the necklace, but My Little box gave their readers an exclusive 20% off code to shop in Delphine’s e-shop and boutique.

Overall My Little Dream Box was yet another outstanding box, can’t wait to see what they have planned for the May box!
