Mrs J’s Advent Christmas Gift Guide Day Six – Hamlet
It’s day six of my Gift Guide, today you will receive no present suggestions I’m afraid. Instead I reviewed a North London production of Shakespeare’s play ‘Hamlet’.

Hamlet is a story set on Christmas Eve of 1878, a passionate tale of revenge and murder delivered with a modern day ghostly twist. Told through the eyes of a young man haunted by the past of the tragedy that occurred within his best friends family, his friend being Hamlet.
Held in the Park Theatre right next to Finsbury Park Station the location is convenient and easy to locate. Park Theatre is a hidden gem that not only serves as an entertainment venue but also as a great location for a light meal, or a few winter drinks with some friends. Having visited Park Theatre last year to watch the cast of ACS Random perform ‘Much Ado About Nothing’ I knew that this years performance would not disappoint. With an engaging and lively cast who fully immerse themselves into their roles, you don’t need to be an A* English Literature student to enjoy and understand this performance.
Hamlet only runs until the 14th of December so get your tickets fast!

Evenings: Tues – Sat 19.45pm
