Look Fantastic January Beauty Box

Afternoon All. Firstly I just want to apologise for not posting over the weekend.  It was lovely to receive a few concerned messages, but not to worry i’m still here (I just got way too engrossed on Project Jonas HQ, keep a look out for an upcoming update).  Now back to today’s topic the Look fantastic January box.  Having tried and tested quite a few other beauty boxes I had every intention of bringing this review a lot earlier than the end of the month.  However the forces were against me and my first box went awol in the delivery depot.  Not being one to be kept waiting I was straight on the phone to customer services to complain, and were extremely impressed with the service that I received as two minutes later another box was on its way!

What I didn’t realise at the time was that the first box going missing was in fact a blessing in disguise!  As what I wasn’t aware of was that 20 of the Look Fantastic boxes were going to be gifted with an extra special mystery gift.   So when box number two was finally delivered I literally had won the golden ticket!

For a person who never wins anything I had won a pair of GHD eclipse hair straighteners …. who said January was a rubbish month!

So back to the important stuff… what’s actually in the box!

Gatineau Collagen Eye Compresses – these convenient eye pads are drenched in a marine based collagen solution, helping to sooth, revive and rejuvenate the eye area.  It also helps reduce any dark circles and relax the eye area making any wrinkles appear finer.  Great for your weekly pampering routine, or for a special occasion.

Myvitamins –  A dissolvable vitamin c tablet that you pop into a glass of water and left it fizz away.  The perfect pick me up drink that comes in a handy handbag sized tube.

Molton Brown Eucalyptus Body Wash – Who doesn’t like a Molton Brown product?  This gorgeous shower gel smells just like a spring morning, perfect for those cold dark mornings when you would rather stay in bed.

Goldwell Dual Senses Colour rich Treatment – Each box was going to be gifted with one of three luxury hair brands.  Mine contained a product from Goldwell a 60 second conditioning treatment for coloured hair, but as my hair is au natural black I wont be able to pass comment on this product, but will definitely be trying something from this range in the future.

Nuxe Creme Mask –  A hydrating mask designed to leave the skin looking nourished and moisturised.  Perfect for this bitterly cold weather.  Remember its not all just about wrapping up to stay warm.  The cold weather and wind can cause havoc and age our skin as well.

Philip Kingsley Daily Damage Defence Leave In Conditioner – Philip Kingsley is a cult hairdressing brand that everyone must try once.  I have tried this leave in conditioner before so was happy to receive another sample.  For someone who often straightens her hair this leave in conditioner is the perfect solution to protect my hair from heat damage and leave it shiny and easy to style.  Tip: less is more!  Don’s stray too much like I have which leaves your hair feeling heavy and reducing the time in between your next hair wash.
