My Little Wish Box
At the beginning of the year when I started planning my January posts, I made a decision that not every beauty box would be reviewed on mrsjonasrecommends.com but only THE best beauty boxes that were bringing something to the table. So with the aim to keep January all about wellness, beauty and general positive vibes, I wasn’t expecting to be featuring any for the month of January. But then my subscription to My Little Box (a little late in the month) landed, all boxed and ready to impress and well, in a month full of life changes (which I shall share in depth at a later date), My Little Wish Box made the cut! Let’s hope that My Little Box keep on rolling out some fantastic boxes as the beauty boxes wars have begun!
This month’s box entitled My Little Wish Box comes presented in the beautifully designed box by Kanako. I particularly liked the inspirational quotes displayed around the side of the box: “In 2016 we hope that you….love a lot, push the boundaries, dream, keep moving” etc….
So what’s in the box?
As with every box, there is a large motivational/post card – whatever you want it to be. I love these cards as it’s quite rare that you buy a postcard these days. Some I have stuck around my home, left on my desk or fridge or used to give away to people that I think will appreciate them. Then we have the My Little World magazine which is full of culture, beauty and fashion. I am so glad to see it back in the small magazine format. As such, I can easily pop it into my bag and read it on the go vs the large fold up poster version that was out last year which quite frankly was a little bit annoying.
Then onto the lifestyle items. Now I have to say this is one of my favourite lifestyle items to date – a cute mint green coloured diary full of inspirational quotes and a convenient week by week format. Unusually for me, I haven’t actually bought myself a diary for this year so this is an item that will not be wasted on me at all! The second lifestyle item is a pack of friendship bracelets. While they sound very 90’s, they are but nicely individually packed and great to give as a gift to someone who needs a little “pick me up”.
Finally we have the beauty pouch packed with three beauty items that you would not believe I have never tried or tested before. The beauty pouch includes: Too faced Melted Long wear lipstick, My Little Beauty lip balm and a Ren 3-in-1 cleanser.
In summary, this month’s box has exceeded my expectations for January and this is one subscription that will always be budgeted for! To buy your own My Little Box subscription from as little as £11 plus P&P, click here.

p.s with Valentines just around the corner, this could be just the gift to ask for.
