Announcement: The launch of my Lime Blossom and Honey flavour Lipbalm at BeeGood
Good Morning! I start this post on quite a chirpy note as today sees the official launch of my chosen lip balm flavour, Lime Blossom and Honey, over on the Bee Good Website. It’s the perfect spring handbag companion. Now before I get into further details on the makeup and formula of the lip balm, let’s take a step back with a mini update as to how little old me inspired a lip balm flavour that managed to get from my head (in its creative stage) to being put through to production!
For those of you that are my regular readers or my family and friends that I asked to vote for me, you will know that last year I entered the Great British Lip Balm Competition in collaboration with Bee Good and Waitrose. Bee Good was, at the time, on the hunt for their next lip balm flavour and gave the opportunity to beauty enthusiasts like myself to enter and create their own flavour which was pitched to both teams at the semi-final stage and then left to the public vote. (To read about my journey, click here.) Whilst the Lime Blossom and Honey flavour came in as a runner up (proving to be a popular concept with the testers), the Bee Good team decided to launch the flavour, after all, just in time for Easter!
This bee-friendly lip balm is fresh and just the right amount of zest for Spring. True to its name, the core of the lip balm formulation is made up of lime blossom and sweet British wildflower honey. Other key ingredients are British beeswax (a natural source of Vitamin E), British borage oil (full of essential fatty acids that help strengthen the skin), and British echium oil (to replenish dry skin). So for nourished, softly protected and moisturised lips, get your hands on some Lime Blossom and Honey Lip balm inspired by me!
