Immuni Tea

If you’re a frequent visitor of my blog or have just stumbled upon it, you’re probably wondering what the lovely art work is all about and what relation it has to tea as in my title. Well I am a lover of tea and the frequent changes in the weather have been playing havoc to my immune system.  So when Mrs J gets a cold (yes I do google to check I have the common cold!), I stock up on herbal teas as there really isn’t much that a good cup of tea and a chat can’t fix.  With my head clouded with cold and a very attractive runny nose in tow, Baldwins was my first point of call.

Baldwins quickly whipped me up an immune-boosting tea or Immuni-Tea as I like to refer to it, full of natural plants and herbs all ready to sort me out! The artist in me wanted to be a bit creative with this post so below is my herbal artwork… Mrs Jonas Recommends the Immuni-Tea dress!

If you would like to make the Immuni Tea for yourself then here is how:

The Immuni-Tea Ingredients

1 teaspoon of Elderberries

2 teaspoons of Chamomile

2 teaspoons of Echinacea

1 thumb-sized piece of Astragalus

Honey to taste

To make the Immuni-Tea:

Gather all the ingredients together (except the honey) and place in a pot or teapot, pouring boiling water over the mixture and leave for ten minutes to brew. Then strain the tea and sweeten with honey if desired.

(all the ingredients for the Immuni- tea can be bought here)
