Honey and Camelina Facial Exfoliator
If you’ve been following my blog you will know that I’m an advocate of Bee products and particularly that of Bee Good. If you’re not familiar with the brand then you can read my post here.
The latest addition to the Bee Good family is the Honey and Camelina Facial Exfoliator, which as soon as it was launched I simply had to try. Now wanting to take my time with testing out this product in its natural habitat shall we say, I packed it as part of my ‘essential wash kit’ for my very English camping holiday. The rest, as they say, is history!
Honey and Camelina is a Facial exfoliator with a creamy formula created to bring dull and congested skin back to life. Like many other effective exfoliators, it gently buffs away dead skin cells to reveal a new layer of smooth and bright skin. Its ingredient make up consists of British wildflower honey combined with Camelina to deeply condition and moisturise the skin. The magical formula also consists of milled lavender flowers to exfoliate the skin and wheat germ oil to restore dry skin (a naturally high source of Vitamin E oil). Finally we have propolis, bringing its antibacterial properties to soothe and aid problematic skin.
So what is Mrs J’s verdict?
Honey and Camelina is another great addition to the Bee Good family range. Having never heard of Camelina before, it was great to see Bee Good harvesting another British grown plant to use in their products that support the British Bee. Many exfoliators can either feel like you have taken a brillo pad to the face or feel like nothing is happening at all but not with Honey and Camelina. It contains just enough granules in its mixture for you to feel the difference. Its creamy formula leaves the skin feeling soft and new and I’m really not just saying that. You need to try it to believe! It is quite gentle on the skin so personally I would say that this is good for normal to sensitive skin. If you want a deeper clean then you will need to use something else in combination to achieve what you want but over all this is gentle enough to be used every day or at least a few times a week!
