Happy 80th Birthday No7!

80th1

Eighty years old! Who would have known that? Having that I’ve just recently started using a lot of No7 beauty products, I had no idea that they’ve been enhancing beauty for 80 years! So here is a toast to No7 – Happy Birthday!

Now I’m sure that No7 has had many successful products over the years. To me, the one that has really given it a new cult following in the past few years (taking women who used to buy No7 in their teens with their pocket money to raging lunatics to get their hands on) is No7’s Protect and Perfect Miracle Serum. If you have no idea what I am talking about then you can read my post here. Back to the BIG birthday in question. With 80 years under the belt it’s only fair that No7 released a Limited Edition Anniversary range to mark this momentous occasion. So what’s in this anniversary range? Keep reading below:

First we have the divine-looking Radiant Shimmer compact, the perfect choice to illuminate your skin and give you a natural glow. It can be used on top of makeup, or if you are lucky enough to have a tan then it works well on its own as well. It is best applied to the top end of the cheekbone area. I’m particularly loving the dotty bronzed swirl design, that when mixed together will give a lovely golden bronze effect. As you can see I haven’t quite started using the compact just yet as I’m just about finishing the original shimmer compact that was released earlier this year. You can read my post here. The Anniversary Radiant Shimmer can be bought for £12.50 here.

Next we have the Anniversary Eye Shadow Palette available in two shades, Nude and Smokey. I find the nude shade perfect as an everyday palette and a great dupe at £12.50 compared to pricier palettes that retail at nearly £40. The palette has a mirror and a double ended applicator brush. Overall, it‘s perfect to just pop in your handbag! To buy the Nude Anniversary Palette, click here, and for the Smokey Anniversary Palette, click here.

Finally we have the high shine glosses. Each gloss contains jojoba oil to leave the lips nourished. Just one coat is all you will need to give a high shine effect. There are three colours in the range: Blossom, Ruby and Graceful. In the picture I have swatched Blossom at the top and Graceful underneath. Each of these lip glosses is £9.00 and can be bought here.

What are your thoughts on the 80th Anniversary Collection?
