Omorovicza – Don’t let Dry January mean Dry Skin!

Dry January, the pledge to not drink alcohol for one month is win-win all-round right? More pennies in the bank account, a healthier you and fabulous glowing skin? Well, not exactly. The varying temperature conditions indoors and outdoors, the weather and our general environment can leave the skin looking a bit lacklustre and dry. We all get different symptoms and variations. I, personally, tend to get dry skin around the eyes, on the forehead and around my lips. I can always tell if I’m about to come down with a cold or need to up those antioxidants as my skin tends to become drier. So what’s the solution? Hydration!

Keeping my skin hydrated during the day is like playing the lottery – you never know if you are going to win! Is the office AC going hot or cold today? The one thing I can control is what I hydrate my face with at night post cleansing. A good concentrated night cream is the easiest way to rejuvenate the skin overnight and the best bit is you don’t even have to do anything (apart from apply it). You sleep and it works its magic. Now that is what I call a win-win situation! What you choose as a night cream will depend on your budget and your skin’s needs. There are some good high street creams on the market but today I’m going to discuss a more premium brand, as for me a good night cream is something worth investing into. Therefore, Mrs Jonas recommends Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream.

Omorovicza Night Cream

Omorovicza’s products are made with the finest vitamins, essential oils and a variety of natural ingredients. And being true to its origins, they are also blended with mineral rich healing waters from Hungary, each one free from synthetic fragrances, colours and parabens. The rejuvenating night cream, yellow and creamy looking, is thick in consistency and therefore comes with a handy spatula and a scoop is all you will need. Application is easy and skin feels like silk almost instantly, the cream sinking in well so that you don’t even notice that you have anything on your face. The formula itself contains the ever important Vitamin A through the ingredient carrot oil, which aids cell renewal in the skin. Continued use of the night cream will leave the skin plumper, firmer as it boosts collagen, soothes the skin and offers hydration giving you back your healthy glow!

Omorovicza Night Cream

Mrs J’s verdict – so you’re probably wondering what really happened? Did a few weeks worth of use leave me looking like I’d just had a very long extended holiday in the sun? Honestly, no, it didn’t, but my skin did feel softer and not looking tight, dry and distressed when I wake up. This meant that washing my face and going through my morning routine was quicker (as I wasn’t trying to over hydrate dry patches), my makeup applied and sat better. Overall, my skin looked less aggravated than it usually would at this time of year. Now at £105, the Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream is not the cheapest of products out there on the market but a 50ml tube is an investment and you only need a small pea-sized amount. This jar is definitely going to see me through the winter period. Another one of my favourites is the Omorovicza Thermal cleansing balm, great for that deep cleanse.

The Omorovicza Rejuvenating Night Cream is £105 for 50ml, and the Omorovicza Thermal Cleansing Balm is £46 for 50ml.
