My Cosy little Box

This weekend saw the Jonas’s make the seven hour drive to St Agnes in Cornwall to visit Mr J’s brother Sam.  Our days have been spent on long coastal walks

and the evenings huddled around a warm cosy fire with a lovely glass of red wine.

This naturally seemed like the perfect opportunity to wrap myself in my cosy blanket and open up this months My Little Box, nicely themed ‘My Little Cosy Box’.

The My Little Box team have produced another outstanding box.  For those of you that don’t know about My Little box, it is a monthly subscription service originating in Paris that sends you themed boxes packed with a mixture of beauty and lifestyle products and a mini magazine full of tips, articles and receipes all following the same monthly theme.  To read my previous reviews on My Little Box click here and here.

So back to ‘My Little Cosy Box’.  This months box’s beauty samples were a dark brown Yves Roche eyeshadow, a black eyeliner by Arcancil Paris (a brand that is new to me) and a My Little Beauty own brand mascara.  The selection was perfect for mastering or trying out that smokey eye look which is great for the Christmas party season.  If like me you stuggle to achieve this without looking like you have had a few rounds in the boxing ring then the handy how to guide in the My Little World magazine will be your saviour.  The box also came with two useful lifestyle pieces.  The first one being a cute little coffee cup designed by their in house designer Kanako.  The mug is perfect for Cappuccino and Expresso drinkers, and seeing as I just bought Mr J an Nespresso machine for his birthday this mug will definitely be used by one of us. The second lifestyle piece was a small cushion cleverly called ‘My Little Bouillotte’  The red and white dotted cushion is filled with beads that can be put in the microwave for two minutes to heat up.  Perfect for snuggling up on the sofa with on a cold day, keeping warm in bed or easing those aching muscles after a hard day at work.  The box is then nicely rounded off with a postcard type card with a little quote, and the My Little World magazine.  All in all a very ‘My Little Cosy Box!’
