If you follow me on Instagram then you will know that I love taking pictures of my food (yes very cliché I know, and I apologise for clogging up your Insta feed). However when you find the most amazing breakfast/brunch spot you really do have to share!

So what’s the name of this place? It’s Chris Kitch!

Chris Kitch is what I call a rustic cafe, hidden away on a residential street of North London, taking its residency on the site of what was an old chocolate factory. Owned by Christian Honor who is a chef by trade, Chris has worked in kitchens all over the world from Australia to the Middle East. Seeking a change from the demanding traits of being a chef but wanting to keep his passion alive, he decided to open Chris Kitch. The rustic but perfect hideaway is open during the day, seven days a week. Everything is made fresh on site on the day, following the motto of ‘what you see is what you get’. The food is mainly salads, cakes, breads and soups, and one amazing brunch on the weekend! Here are a few pics of what Chris Kitch can offer:

You can see why Chris Kitch has become my total weakness! All you north London mums I salute you as coffee mornings take a whole new meaning when you can feast on cakes like this:

If travelling to North London is way out of your remit, then I have some good news folks, Chris Kitch has a book, ‘Big Flavours From A Small Kitchen’, which has now taken the top spot on my cook book stand.
