All Aboard the Good Ship Benefit!
Last week, I was one lucky girl to have been invited on board the Good Ship Benefit! Not sure what I’m taking about? Then head on over to the Embankment in London and sure enough you will see a pink ship. Yes, you read right – a full on pink ship formally known as the R.S Hispaniola having been transformed into this pink machine by the very creative team at Benefit Cosmetics. The ship boasts three decks of glamour, pampering, cocktails, live music and much more! Now if you love pink and love Benefit makeup, then this is one spot that needs to be booked into your diary before the summer is out. Just walking up to the boat you first encounter large, life-like mascaras to guide the way. Each room in the boat and the dining area is themed around one of the great Benefit makeup items. Now my visit to the Good Ship Benefit wasn’t just coincidental or (shh) me out shopping for makeup again! It was all in aid of their new Cheekathon palette, £44.50 – which is exclusive to House of Fraser and of course available at Benefit. After a quick tour of the ship, I took a peek at the Lashitude Restaurant (that I plan to visit again for a bottomless brunch!). Then I was whisked down to the lower deck where there was fizz, cake pops and an official introduction and demonstration of the cheek palette at work. With experts at hand, we were able to learn all about some of our favourite Benefit products and got some great tips on how to create a fresh-faced Spring look. With the boat also hosting a full on parlour and beauty consultation area, it was hard not to have a little spruce up and splurge!
Cheekathon: The first-of-its-kind palette for Benefit is all bronzer and blush hosting 5 full size compacts: Dandelion, Hoola, Rockateur, Dallas and CORALista, plus a mini powder brush. With a saving of £73! (if buying all these blush bronzers separately), £44.50 is not a bad shout for your go-to-cheek palette! Available now at House of Fraser and Benefit.
The Good Ship Benefit is open seven days a week throughout the summer period. Whether its afternoon tea, drinks, or a visit to the brow bar that tickles your fancy, there certainly is something for everyone. To have a peek through the ship’s port hole, click here.
