My Cosy little Box

This weekend saw the Jonas’s make the seven hour drive to St Agnes in Cornwall to visit Mr J’s brother Sam.  Our days have been spent on long coastal walks and the evenings huddled around a warm cosy fire with a lovely glass of red wine. This naturally seemed like the perfect opportunity to wrap myself in my cosy blanket and open up this months My Little Box, nicely themed

The Christmas Tag!

Being a blogger I often read a lot of other blogs across a variety of categories,  some I’m totally addicted too and others I find comfort in as they understand the time, effort, joy and stress that comes with blogging.  So on one of my trawls across the internet I came across ‘The Christmas Tag’ on Jen’s Blog – BeautyJunkieLondon.  What is ‘The Christmas Tag’?  It’s a list of Christmas

Hobbs Christmas Popup

Strolling down Marylebone high Street you really get the feel that Christmas has arrived.  The lights are up and shining bright, all the shops have large Christmas window displays and Hobbs Christmas Popup store is open for business.  If like me you get irritated with herds of shoppers then quiet Marylebone high Street is the perfect spot for a pre Christmas drink and shop. Last night I was lucky enough

These Ugg Boots were made for walking!

Ugg Australia is a Sheepskin brand  that have been around in some form or another since the late 50’s. Originally worn by surfers and locals across Australia and New Zealand to keep their feet warm post surfing or as Slippers. It was only in the late 7o’s when it was brought to the rest of the world by Brian Smith the Australian surfer, and in the  80’s when all the celebrities

One-pot Cooking with Le Creuset

As the days get shorter and the nights get colder there is nothing I love more than tucking into a comforting meal followed by a nice glass of red wine (open fire optional). At the start of the month (much to Mr J’s dismay) I made us leave the comfort of our sofa on a Sunday afternoon and make the journey to the Le Creuset store in Muswell Hill to

Wake up happy with a Lumie Bodyclock

Hate waking up in the mornings?  Find it hard to get to sleep?  Then welcome to my club. Before I share my experiences on the Lumie Bodyclock I want to share with you all a story.  Many moons ago it was my second Jonas family Christmas (my in laws).  By then the family knew me well and were well aware of my sleep issues especially Mr J who was probably

Primer your way to a Studio finish look

Primers… What are they? Are they necessary? Or is this another thing that I really need to be using? These are just some of the questions that I regularly ask myself. There is not one week that goes by without another ‘must have’ miracle beauty product being released.  I don’t know about you, but I do feel the pressure of having to know about the latest beauty products, and that’s

Get Scandalous with a bit of Red Musk

Who remembers White Musk? The iconic fragrance that was part of any 80’s child beauty routine.  In 1981 The Body Shop launched White Musk, the first fragrance of  its time to defy the fragrance industry and produce an animal cruelty free musk. This year came the launch of the revamped White Musk Range, with sexier premium packaging, and brand new ingredients. To view the White musk range click here. The Hot

I’ve been wanting to do a home/ interior post for a while now, and with taking a week off  to focus on Project Jonas HQ this seemed like the perfect opportunity to do so. So what is Project Jonas HQ? Well Project Jonas Hq has become what is the never ending list for home improvement.  Having moved into our new home 18 months ago, we were quite blind as to
